Happ pitched four shutout innings and non-roster player Cody Ransom hit a two-out, three-run home run in the seventh inning to lead the Phillies to a 5-4 come-from-behind win over the Minnesota Twins on Saturday. Happ didn't pitch long enough to earn the win, but increased his scoreless streak this spring to 8 1-3 innings.

Slowed by conjunctivitis, the New York Mets' closer expects to throw BP on Saturday, a step necessary before he appears in an exhibition game. He plans to wear prescription goggles at the direction of doctors.

The cancellation has forced New York Mets closer Francisco Rodriguez to postpone pitching to live batters. Rodriguez said Friday he expects to throw to live hitters Saturday in what should be the final step before pitching in a spring training game.

Before hitting his second single in the third inning, Mauer fouled a pitch off his shoulder and manager Ron Gardenhire replaced him with Drew Butera in the fourth.
